A Retrofit Fan Coil Unit is responsible for the heating, cooling, and ventilation of a home. As a complete system in itself, it is nothing less than an engineering masterpiece made to fit discretely inside a designated wall compartment of a condo unit.

As the name suggests, a fan and a coil are the main mechanical components in a Retrofit Fan Coil unit. The fan pushes out air through the coil system and into your living space.

During the cold season, hot water runs through the coil system, producing warm air. Whereas in the warm season, chilled water runs through the coil system and produces cool air.







When Does a Fan Coil Unit Require Replacement?



Though the Fan Coil system is considered an efficient system, over time, a buildup of rust, mould, and general wear and tear are inevitable due to the combination of time, air, water, and a lack of light.

When old and deteriorated systems are deemed to have reached the end of their useful life, they need to be removed, along with the old insulation. These systems must then be replaced with new anti-mould insulation and a brand-new Retrofit Fan Coil Unit.

The new Retrofit Fan Coil Unit is placed inside the freshly insulated compartment and hooked up to the central master system ready to deliver the full comfort of home.
